Illo Friday - Sail

Once again, because life has gotten in the way of things that I used to enjoy and as I try to get centered again, I decided to give Illustration Friday a shot.

This week’s topic is, “Sail”. The illustration has little meaning other than the overtly obvious. While I usually work with traditional media, I decided to give the Mac a shot at this one.

Hmmm... that little boat is centered, all right, but things look a bit dicey nonetheless.

Very refreshing take! I've been aboard that vessel a time or two.

Yup! Been there myself. Great take on the topic. I'd say that mac did the trick very well!

It has a very friendly feel to it, almost like there is a night-light illuminating it.

What a neat drawing, and quite different from what I've seen so far on this topic.

Yep, this is definitely original! I really like it---and I agree with someone above me, it does have a cozy, friendly feel about it. Well done!

Lol! Quite an original take on the prompt and wonderful coloring. I'd never thought I'd day that about a boat in the toilet! :)

This is amazing. It is a unique take on the topic but it is also very beautiful. I've never seen such a pretty toilet.

Thanks all, much appreciate it. I was definitely going for a mellow.

What does that say about me when it was my first thought when I saw the topic.

I never thought I'd illustrate a toilet either...never say never I guess.

Nice! I'd call it "That wing of the house is closed"

The first thing I thought when I saw this was:

"My dreams are in a dimly lit shitter"

sorry, too honest?

I like it. It does very much so have a cozy feeling to it. Almost like it could be in a children's book...or something. :)

In every thing, there is a universe, including the toilet. Love the color and the in toilet sky.
